Are your slippers looking like this, ripped and torn, then why not do the slipper swap.

Free slip-resistant slippers for the elderly to prevent falls and support independent living.

The average cost of a fall on our emergency services is £5k per person per fall and the ongoing care and support needs that people need after a fall can be reduced with the simple exchange of an old pair of floppy slippers to a new slip-resistant pair.

Used as an intervention and prevention project for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue ECO’s award-winning slipper swap has swapped over 10,000 pairs of slippers since its formation in 2014.
